At Foreign Affair, we offer holds and approvals as a way to help our customers have a better shopping experience.

When you need us to keep the item "on hold" for you, we will put it aside for you for up to 24 hours. You will need to give us your phone number so we can contact you if someone else comes in and wants the item. The hold will end after 24 hours. We ask that you drop in when you have decided to purchase the item. We cannot take your payment over the phone, so we will need you to come in. If you decide not to purchase the item, then just call us and we will put in back on the shelves.

If you are a long term customer and really like an item and want to take it to get someone else's opinion, then we will let you take it out on approval. For this to happen, you must first give us your credit card and a photo identification. We will make an imprint of the credit card, put the purchase price on the imprint and you will need to sign it. You can take it out for three days. The tags and any pricing must be left on the item, and it cannot be worn anywhere except to show someone else and get their opinion. If you decide to purchase it, then we can process the sale with the imprint you left with us, or you can come in and pay for it a different way. If you keep the item for more than three days, the sale will be considered to be made, and the imprint will be used.
